I am off to a slow start here, so I have some catching up to do....
On November 1, I was thankful that the rain kept many trick or treaters indoors the night before. I have lots of leftover candy to satisfy my chocoholic cravings.
Yesterday, November 2, I was thankful that I could make myself walk 3.45 miles even tho it was raining. I had skipped walking on Halloween (there were better things to do) and walked only 1 mile on Friday (I was feeling like crap - or so I told myself). As soon as I am done with the post, I plan to walk 3 miles (my daily goal). We'll see....
Today I am thankful for the technology that allowed me to know what time it really was when I woke up this morning without out having to figure out if I needed to add or subtract and hour. My smart phone is that..Smart:) The only clock I need to set is the one in my car, though I bet my GPS gets it right without any help. And I know I probably should have at least one traditional clock somewhere in my apartment, but I don't. I am not a "I need to know what time it is" kind of person. If I need to know, I can always look at my phone or my computer....At least they will not lie to me because I forgot to set their clocks back or spring them forward on the appropriate weekend.
I am thankful for so much in my life that it is hard not to tell you about it all right now - dragging it out for 30 days is going to be tough.
We don't do Daylight savings time in Arizona. I do a lot of walking and hiking. We have great mountains here for hiking.
ReplyDeleteI wish we did not do Daylight Savings Time...just let the darkness fall where it will.
